Vuforia SDK Version: 6.2.6 -
Description with steps to reproduce: When opening a Unity scene on a machine with no predefined webcam profile, we get the usual "No webcam profile has been found for your webcam model..." error.
The path listed still points to Assets/Editor/QCAR/WebcamProfiles/profiles.xml
But the path has actually been located in Assets/Vuforia/Editor/WebcamProfiles/profiles.xml for a bit, now.
I've seen responses to forum posts about not being able to fix the problem, and the answers occasionally point to where the file actually is, but the error message should probably be updated.
Also: on Windows (I haven't reproduced the error on OSX, so can't comment on the behavior), the message uses inconsistent slashes - which is just kinda ugly. It does forward slashes up until the Assets folder, then a backslash before Editor, then forward slashes for the rest of the path. -
Development OS (Mac OS X, Windows, Linux): Windows -
Mobile OS and Version: Android - but irrelevant -
Mobile Device Manufacturer and Model name: Epson BT-300 but irrelevant -
Do the Vuforia Sample Applications show the same behavior?:
