Name bug with FrameMarkers

December 28, 2012 - 11:02pm #1

If I call this in Unity:

markerTracker.CreateMarker(i, markerName + i, markerSize[i].x * 2.0f);

Then whatever name I give the FrameMarker, it will be automatically renamed to "FrameMarker0", FrameMarker1", etc.

Is this really happening .

I am having the same problem.

I have named the framemarkers as FrameMarkerC1P1,FrameMarkerC1P2,FrameMarkerC1P3 in editor.

Now when I get the name as follows

code snippet:

MarkerTracker markerTracker = (MarkerTracker)TrackerManager.Instance.GetTracker(Tracker.Type.MARKER_TRACKER);

System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable<Marker> markers = markerTracker.GetMarkers();

    foreach(Marker marker in markers){

Debug.Log(marker.Name);

         }

Here I get FrameMarker0,FrameMarker1,FrameMarker2 .

Why I didn't get the names I set to the framemarkers in editor.

Please give me a solution It's urgent.

Thanks

I forgot to mention that you will have to click on the GameObject in the Unity Editor to see the name change. Initially it has the name you gave it but if you click on the GameObject, the name suddenly changes.
