Vuforia SDK Version: 2-0-31 -

Description with steps to reproduce:

Hi,

I've been trying since one week to re-export some target in my target database named "echologia".

But still, during one week the same issue : "Error in processing request please try after some time".

Is there a global issue or just for me ?

Best regards,

QL

@ baqi06,

The Target Manager is not involved at runtime (during program executino), as it is only involved when generating the target and downloading them.

In your case the code is wrong, see this line:

 else if (strcmp(imageTarget.getName(), "personaliti") == 1)
            currentTarget=PERSONALITI;

You need to change it to:
 else if (strcmp(imageTarget.getName(), "personaliti") == 0)
            currentTarget=PERSONALITI;

Because the strcmp function says that two strigns are equals it the return value is zero !

this sounds a bit weird.. are you sure you did not change anything in the code ?

yes, i'm so sure because i have tried re-run the previous code (which was working previously).

I do the sample again from the beginning, but the result still have problem, which it's only detect first and last target.

I think the problem is here :

 if (strcmp(imageTarget.getName(), "suria") == 0)
            currentTarget=SURIA;
        else if (strcmp(imageTarget.getName(), "personaliti") == 1)
            currentTarget=PERSONALITI;
        else
        currentTarget=MASAK;

which it's cannot read the second if.
maybe the problem is in target manager. I don't know.

Hi baqi06,

just to confirm:

did you re-generate and re-download your Device Database (with your 3 targets), or are you seeing a different behaviour just by re-running the app (without changes to the Database) ?

Hi, I got some problem here.

Regarding to the videoplayback sample.

Before this, it works fine. but suddenly, when I change the video yesterday, it only give right result for first and last target, meanwhile other two targets will detect the last target.

without any correction from my coding, the result is wrong, when previously is right.

i'm totally stuck here.

can anyone give me some solution? is there have any problems with the target manager?

i need to detect 3 targets, but it only works for 2 targets.

Thank you.

Ok. This is due to a recent change in the TM which result in this issue for zero-stars targets.

One way of solving this is to remove the zero-stars targets; if the zero-stars targets are of crucial importance to your application, my suggestion would be to try to enhance those 2 images so to get at least 1-star; most of the time this can be done by simply increasing the image local contrast a little bit;

then you can re-upload the images (hopefully obtaining 1 star rating or higher).

Let me know if this is a viable solution for you.

Hi, did you have some targets rated zero stars in your database ?
