Unity 5.1.1 and vuforia Android rendering issues

Vuforia SDK Version: 4.2.3 -
Description with steps to reproduce:

hello

I am having quite a bit of trouble with Vuforia 4.2.3 and unity 5. (5.1.1)

Whenever I build and run the app on my Note 4, the screen gets divided diagonally, with one triangle being pure white and the other seems to be some ultra zoomed in camera feed.

Older versions worked fine on the device

Feels like a scaling issue

Anyine come across this?

It sounds like the same issue already reported by a few other developers in this Forum;

you need to set OpenGL ES 2.0 in the Player Settings;
