Unity Android Release Build doesn't show camera feed

Vuforia SDK Version: 7.0.47:dd7269778b6af1499dec0d5f1dfb0c2c - Description with steps to reproduce: Unity build: 2017.3.1p4 Simply install a Vuforia app without the Development Build checkbox and the camera feed shows up strangely: - Black screen background; - It replicates the other cameras, but rotated 90ยบ; - On some devices, it shows the camera feed on the bottom right corner; The build works fine if the Development Build checkbox is enabled. - Development OS (Mac OS X, Windows, Linux): Windows 10 - Mobile OS and Version: Android 8.0.0 - Mobile Device Manufacturer and Model name: Samsung SM-A520F - Do the Vuforia Sample Applications show the same behavior?: No.

Hello bicastudios,

What objects do you have in your Vuforia scene? Are you only seeing it on that device, or are you seeing it on more devices? Are there any errors in the logs?

Apart from the device on the initial post, we've tested on the following devices with the same output:

Doogee t6 pro - Android 7.1.2
Samsung Galaxy Tab - Android 5.1.1

They worked fine with "MODE_OPTIMIZE_QUALITY".

Regards

Hi @bicastudios and @Straza was there any resolution for this? I'm getting the exact same problem when trying to build a release apk ...works fine in Dev mode. Seems there are many people still having the same issue. Allan
