Unity crasehs when clicking ImageTarget in Hierarchy window

Vuforia SDK Version: 2.6 -
Description with steps to reproduce:

Hello,

I´m having some troubles on my unity project.

I´m making an android project on Unity 4.2.1. There are just the graphic elements missing. Somehow, I can´t click the ImageTarget on the Hierarchy window anymore without Unity crashing. The last thing I did is creating a new script. Even if i delte this one it´s still crashing. Hopefully, someone can help me.

You are replying to a very old Thread; the last post dates 2013 and refers to an old version of Vuforia 2.6.

Could you create a new thread that refers to Vuforia 4.2 (latest version)?

I'm using 5.0.2f1

I could only select the ImageTarget object when the dataset and image were not set.

Once the two propeties are now set from the drop down, selecting the ImageTarget object will cause an imidideate crash 100% of the time building the inspector panel.

Thanks for your report. The issue you describe is a known stability issue with Unity 4.2.2, which can occasionally lead to a crash related to the refresh and/or reimport of assets and scripts.

This is fixed with Unity 4.3.

If you are working on iOS only, you can use Vuforia 2.6 with Unity 4.3, following this link:

If you are working for Android, then you will need to wait for the next release of Vuforia which will be fully compatible with Unity 4.3.
