Hello,

Thank you for the detailed specs. Here's a few observations from the provided log file:

11-13 17:08:42.801 8884-9075/com.marq.plus I/AR: ObjectTracker: This device doesn't support model targets extended tracking, extended tracking will be turned of

Although a black-screen is not expected due to the lack of Extended Tracking support, it is important to understand that these features are not supported for the Xperia XA Ultra:

https://developers.google.com/ar/discover/supported-devices

https://library.vuforia.com/articles/Solution/vuforia-fusion-supported-devices.html

Additionally, I see you're using an older version of the Vuforia Engine SDK:

11-13 17:08:39.285 8884-9075/com.marq.plus I/AR: Vuforia SDK version 7.1.35

To insure this is a device compatibility issue, please use our latest 7.5 core samples (unmodified) and test again. If you're still seeing the black screen issue, respond and I'll take it to the next step to procure the device for additional testing.

Thanks,

Vuforia Engine Support
