Description with steps to reproduce:

I'm trying to use the plugin vulforia with Airplay and the background image captured by the camera of the device is not showing up.
Recognition of target works but the background does not appear.

Anyone know the solution?

Thanks man, I Try get the background image, but not work, I dont know why the background image appear black. Nothing in vuforia code has changed, nothing, just I enable the second display buffer in unity. I wasnt using airplay complex code, is the simple vuforia sample with one second camera and this script: https://gist.github.com/AngryAnt/5160204

What I meant to say was that if you build a standard Vuforia application, then run it on a device with Airplay Mirroring, then it ought to work as it has done in our tests so far i.e. running on a larger display for a presentation with no code changes...

I am not sure I have understood the setup that you have described, but it seems to be using the Unity Airplay API, so I am not sure why exactly you need this or what the configuration is that you are trying to support?

If you have a complex render setup with multiple camera etc. then in general we recommend using the Background Texture Access method as shown in the sample of the same name.  This way you can do what you wish with the framebuffer.

Ok, lets try...

Primarily Vuforia is only supported running on the device

I know, I am using one IPAD, device supported by vuforia.

Anything else should be considered a bonus

What I want isn't bonus, I want use this script: https://gist.github.com/AngryAnt/5160204 inside the game engine Unity and nothing else, I want two displays the main display the IPAD screen and the seconde the TV with AIRPLAY, the app will run on IPAD, but with simple mirroring happen it: I had one 16:9 TV with the IPAD aspect 4:3, so in the end the app will project with two black rects on left and right sides. The problem is simple and looks like a bug, why do I think this? Because when I active the targetBuffer for the second display the vulforia give me a black image. Vuforia lost some reference for the camera device image, but the RA target appear in the right place, but without background. And I check all possibilities inside the unity3d, depth camera and many others.

I try get te background image and that image are black to, so what I want is some help, ok if no one help me, but think before answer this question.

Thanks man for your replay, and if you know how help me I will apprecitate.

Bad english, i m sorry... =)

With simple mirroring all work

Not sure what more you actually want?

Primarily Vuforia is only supported running on the device.  Anything else should be considered a bonus :)

Hi,

I had the same problem using unity3d, when I created a camera for the second display in unity3d and set the target of the camera for this display all screen going black. With simple mirroring all work but when I active the configuration above, black screen happens. Some times some camera device frame appear, but just a single frame and nothing else.

I tried a lot of things to solve this problem, but without success.
