Can I change the license key of my Cloud DataBase?

Hi team.

 

We have an app that is using a develop license key to access cloud database , recently it's reaching the 1000 recos limit . 

 

We do have a paid basic + cloud key in our developer account , can you please let me know if I can replace the develop license key with our paid key?  If so how can I do it in target manager.  Also if the license key can be replaced , will the Database Server Access Keys change ?

Hi,

Unfortunately no changes can be made once you linked a license to a cloud database.

You will need to create a new db and load the image targets there.

I apologies for the misunderstanding, you can add a new license key to your cloud db by following this steps:

1. Go to cloud license with associated cloud DB.

2. Cancel license

3. Add the new license to the cloud DB

Hi Team,

 

We had exactly the same problem.

 

We use the 'Pro - Standard' license for our app, but the cloud DB was still associated to a develop license, reaching the 1000 recos limit.

 

We followed the steps, only at step 3 we were not able to select our 'Pro - Standard' license. (see screenshot)

 

What could be the problem here?

Hello, we are having the exact same issue. The licenses do not show in the dropdown. Does anyone have a solution to this?

Yes, I tried Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Microsoft Edge....

I am sorry to hear you're still experiencing the issue. It could be a firewall problem. Can you provide me with your browser versions and try with a different network?

Hi Patrick, 

 

I've tried on a different computer with the VPN and it is the same thing....my Chrome version is Version 97.0.4692.99 (Official Build) (x86_64), I just updated it...I just need to assign a license to my existing database...My programmers are stuck without this.

Hey there,

 

Can you possibly try it on a computer without the VPN? Or a mobile device with 4G? If the issue persists it is related to more then just the VPN.
