Can I use VWS with a Classic license?

Hi,

 

I am developing an app that gets image targets over the Internet at runtime, and tracks them.

 

To do this, I need to convert the image to an xml, dat file automatically.

So I will use VWS.

And I will not use Cloud recognition, so I want to buy a Classic license.

 

But when I saw the VWS article, VWS seems to be for cloud recognition.

So can I not use VWS as a Classic license?

Hello,

Correct. Vuforia Web Services (aka VWS) can only be accessed with a Development or Cloud license.

To download Vuforia device databases, DAT and XML files, you'll need to enable your own CMS as our Cloud services do not meet your requirements.
