Image Target License

November 10, 2017 - 2:36pm #1

I am using Unity 2017.2. I started with the Image Targets sample from the Core Samples package. I created my own Image Target using the Target Manager and the targets are recognized when I "play" the app in Unity using my laptop's webcam, but they do not seem to be recognized when I build for mobile (e.g., Android) I am using a "free" development key. Should I expect a custom image target to work on a mobile device using this type of license, or do I need to purchase a paid license?

Thanks.

Hello memelab,

Custom Image Targets will work on a mobile device with a development license. Make sure that if you are running this from the Core Samples, the "SamplesMainMenu.cs" script is modified to load your datasets instead of the sample datasets.. Check this script and modify it to load yours instead if you are running all the scenes included in the Core Samples.

Thanks,
