Offline object recognition and target lost

Hi,when I recognize an object in offline mode (i.e. without WiFi or 3G), how technically works the counting for billing? Does it work without problems? It counts in background and then when the app goes online (maybe once a day) it transparently transmits the new value to Qualcomm's billing service?

And what happens when the app lose the target for a couple of seconds and then refind it?The reco counter is updated twice or there is some tolerance for this scenario?
