AR camera can't target the object

Hi everyone!

I have 3D model of my object, and I want to make AR application with Vuforia ModelTarget. I think, I did everything true. (https://library.vuforia.com/content/vuforia-library/en/articles/Solution/model-target-generator-user-guide.html)

Firstly I made one Guide View in MTG.  Then I add Vuforia to Unity, and I built application for Android.

When I run app, it can understand 3D object, but when I change my position, it isn't working, AR camera is not moving I think.. I want to see my object 360. But I can only see my object with the position which I made in Guide View.

Even on this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCkueobt-yc he couldn't use truly, but the end of the video we can see good app working. But how, please?

On the photo you can see in the app it's working, only one position, if I change my real position, it isn't working....

Hi,

The issue is related to the object. For Model Target to work properly the model should be feature rich, unfortunately a refrigerator is not feature rich object. It is mainly a cuboid.

Thank you for response.

Okay, So is problem only the object? But firstly it understands object, then when I move the phone (or camera) my AR 3d object also moves. Why? Shouldn't it stay the same position, should it?

Thanks, that's good to know! I tried to model simple objects to begin with, thinking it'd be easier to do, but now I understand why it was harder to work with a microwave oven or a book rather than with a plastic tank model or a plant...
