Model Target Generator does not display any 3D model.

Hello,

I have installed the Vuforia Model Target Generator desktop app and it does not display any 3D model in the CAD Model View option.

I tried to load the "VuforiaMars_ModelTarget" sample and also tried with other 3D format models and I have the same problem, but it does not show any error message.

I have Windows 10 Full Creators and AMD Radeon(TM) R9 M375 graphic card.

What could be the problem?

Hello umEtic,

This is often the result of having a space in the path for the model you are loading into the generator. Can you confirm that there are no spaces and let me know if you still see this issue?

I am having the same issue.  I have tried with multiple different models from FBX to OBJ.  I have tried them in different file path and locations.  Each time I cannot view the model CAD Model View. It simply shows a white screen as others have shown.

No, in my case I'm loading the models from the desktop.

As umEtic mentioned, a user in that thread has found a work around.

Our team is still investigating the cause of this issue and we were hoping to get some additional information from anyone encountering it.

I am also facing a similar issue,while try to loading sample vuforia mars 3d model getting a blank page.I am using a vm with windows 10.Is thier any workaround for this matter.

I am also having the same issue but can solve it. Import 3d model into blender, delete all blender elements from the scene, export it to .stl

I am just using develop for free where i am not deploying the app,Just using it for learning purpose?

I just had the same issue and got it working.

My setup is Dell notebook with integrated and Nvidia graphics. I have external displays connected through docking station.

The Object Recognition feature only accepts .od files which are generated from our Scanner app, which can be downloaded here: https://developer.vuforia.com/downloads/tool
