Model Target Generator Error When Importing CAD model

Getting this error when trying to import my first model into the model target generator:

Image removed. I have tried with .fbx and .dae files. If I click "ok" it just goes on to saying its import forever (atleast 30 minutes has passed)

Two questions:

  • Which version of the Model Target Generator are you using?
  • Can you share the file (3D model) that you're trying to import?

Got it working on another computer - same version (Model Target Generator 8.1.8) and same model (a high detail model with 1512 parts and 306.382 triangles).

 

Is it a permission issue? Library issue? -The OS is the same (windows 10).

We're not tracking any known issues (ones that we've been able to reproduce) similar to yours.

Maybe the version of Java being used? Just guessing...
