Hi, I'm using unity2017.3 for model target Object recognition.
I had generated Model Target using Model Target Generator (MTG), It was for recognizing a real world car, I used 3d model of the Car(.fbx) with units similar to real-world scale in meters and generated the ".unity Package" & "Guide view 2d Image" and imported to unity and build according to the instructions.
Due to lack of the real world car of which i had the model, i was testing the application on images displayed on monitor at respective view at which i generated the target, it was working fine, but the problem is it's working with every other car (I know it's funny) i was trying it on, and it also worked on other real world cars.
Can someone tell me is it a bug or am i doing anything wrong.........!!!?
Hello saiunity,
Can you share a screenshot of your model as well as the guideview you are using? It is possible that with a somewhat generic model you'd be able to get false positives with similar cars, especially if the guideview is a direct shot of one of the sides.
Also, while you can sometimes use images of the object to test your MT, it is not an accurate representation of the detection and tracking.
Thanks,
