ModelTarget issues with Hololens demo

I just downloaded the demo from here: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/packs/vuforia-hololens-1-2-sample-101553

It seems to be fairly recent and I'm trying to access how and how well do model targets work on Hololens.

Based on this demo, I just changed the Mars model by our own test model (which we also have in reality), used the default HLL1 config in MixedRealityToolkit (like we do in our projects with success) but run into some issues:

1. Hololens is only rendering with 1 eye. This never happened before and I could not figure out why this is happening with your demo. Other apps are working fine. Do we have to use the profile that came with the demo? If so, will it even work since it seems it's configured for HLL2 and not HLL1?

2. Until the first detection, there is no guide view. After first detection it becomes visible and works as expected. This is a very weird one because if I just use the Mars model it shows in the beginning as expected. Note that with our model it also shows but only after the first detection.

3. The tracking quality on Hololens is bad and unstable (even on a static object). How well are Model Targets expected to work on Hololens?

I have the same issue : Only the left eye is rendered.

I got this with the hololens 2 and any version of Unity.

Did you find any way to fix this ?

Any ideas or workaround ?
