Unable to load a CAD model

Hello,

I'm trying to load a CAD model in MTG, but it never stop loading.

I tried with the model provided with the tool, but i'm still facing the same issue : the message "Loading your CAD model" never disappears.

Does anyone faced the same issue and can help me ?

Thank you

Hello pelursos,

Can you please confirm that there are no spaces in the path for any models you are trying to load in the MTG?

Also, could you provide more information on the environment you are running the MTG in (OS, hardware specs, VM, etc)?

Thanks,

Hello,

There are no spaces in the different paths I used.

I'm running the tool on windows 10 (not a VM) with a i5 CPU (2,3GHz, 64 bit) and 8Gb of RAM.

Thank you

Hello again,

Is the file you are loading hosted on a shared or network drive of some sort? Also, what is the size of the model you are loading, both poly count and file size?

Thanks,

Vuforia Support

Sorry for the delay.

The file is on my local hard drive.

I don't know what is the poly count of the model. I'm trying to load the model provided with the tool (VuforiaMars_ModelTarget.pvz).

I had the same problem on two different PCs.

My workaround was to enable "Compatibility Mode" with "Windows 7" and now it works flawlessly.

Maybe that will work for you.

System 1: Windows 10 Pro x64 Version 1511

Hello all,

I'm glad to hear that workaround is helping you.

Our team is still investigating the cause of this issue and we were hoping to get some additional information from anyone encountering it.
