Would different form of rim affect the performance of model tracking?

SDK 10.0

Hello,

first of all thank for the great tool - Vuforia

the thing is, we are using modle tracking for a static car in the garage, the 3D model which we used, is NOT 100% as same as the real car, the rim form is not the same, we just remove the wheels as the tracking target, would it affect the performance of the tracking if we add the different rim as tracking target? if so, how would be the extent?

Thank a lot in advance :)

best regards

Wei

Would different form of rim affect the performance of model tracking?

Hey Wei,

Honestly, that's hard to judge. Especially since you mention that the car model is not 100% the same, that will definitely affect tracking. How much it will affect tracking is a question I cannot answer. I recommend to test and try it out + make sure to follow the best practices. Good luck!
