  • Model Target Web API: Now you can generate Model Targets using the Web API to streamline target generation pipelines.
  • Model Target Size Reduction: For Model Target databases with multiple models, the overall database size is significantly reduced, in particular if multiple advanced views are created per model.
  • Matterport OAuth 2 Support in the ATG: Matterport scans can now be accessed in the Area Target Generator app using Matterport OAuth credentials.
  • Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements
  • Object Targets Are No Longer Supported in Version 10.7 and Above: Please use scanned Model Targets instead.
    • Applications that are currently using Object Targets will continue to work on versions 10.6 and below. If your application is updated to 10.7 or above, Object Targets will stop working.

Vuforia Engine 10.7 is Available!

Hi, there

Now that Frame Makers has been removed from Vuforia 10.7 without notice.

Is there a way for Vuforia 10.7 to use Frame Marker image legacies?

Or those Frame Marker image legacies could be recognized with equivalent VuMark?

A solution of using Frame Marker image legacies with Vuforia 10.7 is CRUCIAL..

Please support, thanks a lot.

Hey there,

Frame Markers have been deprecated since Vuforia Engine v6.0. I recommend looking into VuMarks as you already mentioned.

Hi, Patrick

Appreciate for your reply.

I have created several VuMark, with attributes Numeric, ID length 10 and Numeric, ID length 12.

All of them works pretty well on their own.

Nevertheless, none of them could recognize the original Frame Marker Image Legacies.

Is there a Frame Marker equivalent VuMark Database for Unity Editor available?

Or what's the criteria to create one VuMark that could accomplish the goal of recognizing Frame Marker Image Legacies?

Please advice.

Thanks a lot.

Hey there,

Both are different technologies and you will need to create new VuMarks. There's no possibility to re-use your old Frame Markers.
