AR for static large objects

Is there a way with Vuforia create an augmented experience of a very large objects (like real scale buildings in front of you)? That you can walk around (if you are in some open space, of course), seeing all of it details in real scale?

Current extended tracking seems like not enough - after moving camera 3-5m away from tracker object dissapears..

Please check a couple of things:

  1. Do you have the positional device tracker enabled (Unity Editor->Windows->Vuforia Configuration->Track Device Pose)? This provides Extended Tracking for targets and can allow AR experiences to continue even when the target is not longer in the camera's field of view.
  2. Is the clipping plane in the ARCamera inspector set to a large "far" value? Augmentations can artificially disappear if you exceed this distance. Try setting it to some obsurdly large value
