Detecting more than 2 target objects simultaneously in Vuforia Unity

February 11, 2019 - 7:58pm #1

Hi,

I have read some of the Vuforia documentation indicating that only 2 target objects can be detected at the same time. I would like to detect up to 5 target objects simultaneously, is there a way to do this?

I have tried experimenting with 3 objects, only two of the 3 are detected and the 3rd object can only be detected if one of the two previous objects are already outside of the camera's view.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am using Vuforia 7.5.26 and Unity 2018.3.1f

Detecting more than 2 target objects simultaneously in Vuforia Unity

Hello,

There are two ways to adjust the number of simultaneously tracked Image Targets and/or Object Targets:

  1. In the Unity Editor: ImageTargets prefab->ARCamera->Open Vuforia Engine configuration->Max Simultaneously Tracked Images/Max Simultaneously Tracked Objects
  2. Via Vuforia APIs:

Thanks,
