Device compatability for object recognition app.

Hello,

I'm trying to us the object recognition scanner. Ideally I would love to be able to use a 3d object like .obj or .fbx to recognize a 3d object, but it seems as if Vuforia wants me to scan a real world object. That's ok, but I'm seeing that the app for scanning is only available on Samsung Galaxy S5 and Google Nexus 5 for Android version 4.2 and above. I'd rather not have to spend $650+ on an unlocked phone.

Will the app work with a Galaxy tab s2 or Nexus 7 tablet?
