Multiple 3D Object Tracking

May 9, 2017 - 1:48am #3

I know that it's possible to track 2 objects simultaneously.

In my case, I got 5 object target. The flow of my work is like pair interaction, so I just need 2 target at a time.

For example, if the five object targets are A, B, C, D, F. Object A & B needs to be tracked and the user do something than move to the next step. In the next step, the object C & D needs to be tracked and so on.

So, is there a way to do things like that?

By the way, I'm using Vuforia 6.1 with Unity 5.6.

Hello,

Yes, this is possible. Please be aware that object targets are different from 2D planar targets in how they are created, properties that make them good for detection and tracking, and in their size (much larger than image targets).

Thanks.

Multiple 3D Object Tracking

In my project, I can get first two object that is seen in camera view tracked but when I try to detect third object target it fails (Only 2 target in view at a time).

I thought that was the max simultaneously tracked objects number means till I try the Vuforia 6.2 with same scenario and it worked.

Is it a bug for older SDK?
