We have the following problem with a Unity application that implements Vuforia as an RA engine. We have an Image Target with Extended Tracking Positional. Vuforia detects the image well and renders the 3D object following the image if it is within the camera's viewing angle. The problem occurs when the Image Target leaves the camera's viewing angle, in this case the 3D object is fixed in space and does not update its position when moving the camera, but moves with the camera with a position fixed

I don't quite understand your question/use-case however based on my current understanding of your use-case. The augmentation will remain at its position in world coordinates, when using Extend Tracking. Vuforia keeps track of the camera motion with respect to the surrounding space.
