Dear Vuforia Team,is it possible to recognize a very big and individual object?I have a screenshot attached using the Vuforia Scanner trying to scann that object with the provided A4 paper. However the programm captures only about 20% of the object (see screenshot). Is it possible to scann and track this large and indivudal (when it comes to the shape ob the object) toy? If yes, I would be happt to know how.The object dimensions are 18.3 x 6.3 x 15.4 inches.Thank youTom

Did u get any solution for scanning bigger object???

Also note that your object should be placed entirely in the upper right cuadrant not only the base of it and the background should be a plain color one (e.g. white or gray)

Thank you for your reply, but how should I place my object in the upper right cudrant if its size exceeds this cudrant by far (see schreenshot) ?

Place the object so everything is in that quadrant. It does not matter if the left most part of the object is not touching the ground.

Could you supply the object scanning target artwork as a vector image so we can try printing it off at a larger scale? The jpg that is linked on the website loses quality if we try to go much higher than A2 with it.

Hi,
First of all think about printing the scan pattern to an A3 paper sheet. You have to scale the content by 137% later on.

Me too, getting issue when scanning the big object. It get lost easiy when you move away from scanning target.
How big is the size of the scanned objevct that the app still work?
Thanks

You can scan big objects but they have to be featured, if the part of the object you are scanning does not have enough points and the target is not anymore in view you will lose your object easily in the capture app.

As a rule of thumb (from my experience so far):

Thank you guys. I just give it a try on a big objects such as open computer case, it works great as long as it have lot of features.

The maximum recommended print size for the object scanning target is A3. Apologies, but we cannot support formats for printing larger sizes at this time.
