The .od file I created is too big to upload to the database. What now?

Hi all, I scanned a 3D object and I'm trying to add it to the database. The .od file is 45 Mb, but it says that the maximum file size to upload is 35 Mb. I feel like this is a bug with the web form. Is there anything that can be done?

Thanks.

Hello,

I'm checking with our devops team about this. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Thanks,

Hello,

Thank you for the suggestion. We are working on improving the scanning app experience to be more instructive in these situations.

Thanks all. I took your advice and just did a more concise scan. I'd really like to have full coverage in the near future, so let me know when the size limit is updated.

:-D

Hello,

I don't believe the upload size has been changed on the portal. Thus, the previously recommended solution is still accurate.

Thanks,

Hi,

suggesting to rely on a poorer scan obviously leads to think about Vuforia as an unripe tool for real life projects.

@andrewvergara Do you have any ETA on when this issue will be fixed?
