Saving Issues - Object Scanning

I'm trying to scan an object with the Scanner app, which always seems to work fine but when I want to finish the session I enter a name and the app says it's saving but then I always end up in the start menu without any results.

I work with a Samsung Galaxy S4 mini which I know isn't really recommended. Do I need to change my device or is there another way to solve this issue.

I've managed to get a scan on my Samsung but sometimes it still happens and I have to reboot my device sometimes multiple times. I've also gotten my hand on other devices which don't seem to have this problem.
