Scanner app object works fine, in unity do not work well

Hi everyone, I`m with a problem, when I scan a object with vuforia APP, it detects fine, the green rectangle appears and works very well even with little light. But when i pass it to Unity (With continouslyFocus and trigger auto) it simply don`t work or works very bad... anyone knows why the vuforia app works so well? if it is using some kind of extended tracking... even with the unity object sample it works very weird and different from the app.Thank you!

I would like to scan a large object (a car) that I want to track.

How I can use a car as 3d target object? Is this possible?

Same problem here. All our targets test like charm in the testmode of the object scanner, but are barely recoginzed at all in Unity (autofoucus and trigger are set). Is there any parameters we are missing?

Any advice would be appreciated.

We tried alot of things the last weeks (rescanning the objects, simply using the sample scene etc.) but nothing improved the situation.

I also am experiencing this issue. Is there any resolution or debugging steps that can be performed? Is the source for the scanner app using Unity or the Android version of Vuforia?

Same issue here. Also tried to use my OT scans in the Unity Sample App but they get only recognised some times.

If somebody gets the object tracking working, please post the solution in this thread. Thank you!

I think Unity only can load native plugins in 32 bit for android. Maybe this is causing the performance drop (mayebe the scanner app uses some 64 bit detection), but this is just a guess.. I can't even manage to get my object recognized by the scanner app :(

I also need a solution for this.

Scanner displays the preview cube fine but Unity does not recognise the target at all.
Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Scanner used on a One Plus 3, Android 7.1.1.

Hello,

Can you send some screen grabs from the Object Scanner? Specifically, I'd like to see the object you're trying to scan and the number of keypoints extracted by the tool from the object.

Any update on this one? I have the same problem on Nexus 5x. Unity project doesn't detect objects at all. Scanner app works fine.

Hi everyone, may be I find the point: Enable the datasets

Default is trun off after add datasets.

Step: ARCamera -> Vuforia Behaviour -> Open Vuforia configuration -> Datasets -> Load XXX Database -> Activate

[SOLVED]  I fixed this by:

1) selecting AR Camera in the hierarchy in your scene

2) Open Vuforia Configuration

3)  Ensure that your OT Database that you downloaded is activated.

That's it!  Worked for me!

I'm using the latest Unity and Vuforia versions and I have the database activated on the object target itself. It works fine on the scanner app but still can't detect through the app on my phone. Do I need a pro license to have the scanned object recognized through my test app?? Thanks!
