Static objects

Hi There,

I am attempting to work out how to keep particular objects static when the scene is launched in Unity. I want to have a terrain which remains locked in place, say in line with a table top, then a car as my virtual object which has been mapped using the Object scanner.

Under ARCamera I have set the World Center to 'specific target' but the only objects which show in the finder is the ObjectTarget. Does the ObjectTarget have a particular setup?

do you use Unity or one of the native SDKs?

I quess you use Unity. If so i think you have to add two targets to the scene. E.g. one ImageTarget, which tracks your table and on ObjectTarget, which tracks your car. Under ARCamera, I would set the World Center Mode to 'specific target' as you did already. Then I would drag the ImageTarget from the hierarchy-view to the World Center object field in the inspector.

Now the camera should move relative to the ImageTarget (your table) and the ObjectTarget (your car) moves idenpendently from camera.
