Target Recognition

       First, scanned the target without colors it got recognized. Once we color the targets it did not get recognized.

So we then bolded/ thickened the edges of the original targets (uncolored). Started coloring with light  colors now it got recognized.

      Tested with a target colored with pencils / crayons/ markers.  If use bright colors like black, blue etc... the target could not be recognized.

      Is that the color that affets the feature points? 


I have attached the targets. The elephant colored with dark colors did not recognize, whereas the panda colored with light colors worked.


Please clarify me on this. Whats the difference when color the targets with light / dark colors.

The darker filled in areas of the elephant picture make the line definition harder to see. The contrast is lowered and the features are not as easily distinguished. See this FAQ and related guide links for more info:
