I have scanned an object with a little more than 200 feature points. After compiling a build in Unity, the image I overlay does not completely cover the real object. From the front it accomplishes this quite well, however when I change the angle of the camera, my overlay either becomes larger than the actual object or too short, revealing the actual object. What am I missing here? Why does my overlay not maintain the same relative position?? The 3d overlay was scaled to life and I have enough feature points to have decent tracking. Is this a problem in Unity where my bounding box does not accurately represent the actual object? Or does this have something to do with the feature points, perhaps I require more (im scanning an object larger than a toy)?? Please help!
