integrating min3d with qcar/draw custom object in qcar

Hi guys,
I am building an AR project. Many suggested me of using QCAR SDK. But i was wondering if i have to draw custom views in OpenGL , while SDK draws camera beneath object !! how to do this. ??? Didnt got succes in drawing custom object , ( actually :( not even sqaure box in ImageTargetRenderer class of QCAR SDK). Have anybody got success in merging QCAR with min3D framework or Power VR sdk (from imagination technologies) .. if any , then plz suggest me the procedure of doing so , any code help will be highly appreciated.. Need to submit my college project its very urgent....

I have the same problem here, How can I merge between "QCAR" project and "min3d" Framework , How can I add "min3d" in "ImageTargets" projects as example? please any help.

We don't have any tutorials for merging QCAR with 3rd party rendering engines at this time. I suggest looking into Unity and our Unity extension if you want a quick and easy way to get started with 3D content.

hi kim,
sorry for late reply,as i was trying to integrating qcar with min3d(capable of rendering animated models),but got no luck with that. so i tried a different library of image detection and i was busy in that for few days,now min3d is rendering after image detection. but my current problem is that the model is on the screen and not on top of image target. i am very confused what should i do??
Is there is any way to render animated model with help of Qcar?
i tried a lot of things as i said in earlier posts but nothing is giving me a complete solution.
plz help me ..

You have to apply the modelview matrix available in the native renderFrame method (in ImageTargets.cpp). That matrix is responsible for placing the content on the target.

i tried to get the values but have no luck with that,can you plz guide how to do that?

You can send the matrices to Java using JNI calls. See this thread for some sample code: http://ar.qualcomm.at/node/2001930

You will probably need to use both the modelview and projection matrices from ImageTargets.cpp.
