Rendering custom object...

Hi all,
I can't show my custom object well...when i bake and unwrap...which steps must I follow?

1° Unwrapping
2° Baking

or

1° Baking
2° Unwrapping

?

I'm a noob in this field....

If you have the obj file with the texture mapping, I'm guessing this is the texture for it: https://github.com/HBehrens/obj2opengl/raw/master/banana.jpg

ooook :D now is ok...thanks omar!!!! ;)

BUUUT :D i've a question....in obj2onpengl.pl there is the banana model with his texture....How can I get the jpg file of the banana? Textures of the teapot in qcar examples how were they obtained??

I suppose the texture are obtained by the 3d model...but HOW?? with the unwrapping???

Hello,

The object has to be UV-unwrapped before baking.

It says so in the second link under "Disadvantages".

On Blender if you want to have a single texture for an object and export it into a certain format probably the best way is to select the object that has been textured in Object Mode. Go to the UV/Image panel and select Image > Consolidate into one image. Then export the object into your desired format (e.g. OBJ).
