andriod NDK r5 compiled error

December 13, 2010 - 1:55am #1

Hi~
I had successfully compiled the Native code in NDK r4b on both Shared&ImageTargets
but when i update the NDK r5, something happened:

the log messages are as follows (Shared Project):
Clean: Shared [armeabi]
Clean: stdc++ [armeabi]
Clean: Shared [armeabi-v7a]
Clean: stdc++ [armeabi-v7a]
Compile++ arm : Shared Compile++ arm : Shared Compile++ arm : Shared StaticLibrary : libstdc++.a
SharedLibrary : libShared.so
D:/DOGIP/991MPP/android-ndk-r5/toolchains/arm-linux-androideabi-4.4.3/prebuilt/windows/bin/../lib/gcc/arm-linux-androideabi/4.4.3/../../../../arm-linux-androideabi/bin/ld.exe: cannot find -lQCAR
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [/cygdrive/d/DOGIP/991MPP/workspace/Shared/obj/local/armeabi/libShared.so] Error 1

Sounds like it didn't found the library 'libQCAR.so', but when i change to NDK r4 without modified the library path nor the andoird.mk, projects compiled successfully.
Has anyone had this problem occured?:confused: THX!

It is suggested, but not required, that you upgrade to Android NDK r5.

Now, with new AR SDK, do we have to install ndk-r5?

Thanks,

This is an issue with Android NDK r5 and Cygwin. We suggest using NDK r4b for now, and our next release will include fixes to the build files to work with r5.
