Building the qcarShared

October 22, 2010 - 1:13pm #1

I am seeing the following error, while building the samples/Shared project:

Errors occurred during the build.
Errors running builder 'Integrated External Tool Builder' on project 'qcarShared'.
Variable references non-existent resource : ${workspace_loc:/com_qualcomm_QCARSamples_Shared/.externalToolBuilders/copyQCARLibs.bat}
Variable references non-existent resource : ${workspace_loc:/com_qualcomm_QCARSamples_Shared/.externalToolBuilders/copyQCARLibs.bat}

Any pointers?

Thanks, it is WinXP. Naming of the project was the issue.

What did you name your Shared project? It should be com_qualcomm_QCARSamples_Shared. If you want to name it something different, you will need to change the paths in the "Import QCAR libs" builder. Right-click on the project and choose Properties > Builders to find this.

Hello,

What is the OS you are using for development?

Per the Get Started documentation, support for development with QCAR SDK is limited to WinXP 32 bit platform. That being said, this is a known limitation for Mac OS X and Linux installations and can be worked around by manually executing the steps found in the copyQCARlibs.bat for your given OS.

Thanks, Dave
