Building the SDK for non Snapdragon CPU

October 11, 2010 - 8:21am #6

So I have actually got a few of your sample applications working on my Co-Workers Nexus One. This technology is fantastic. However what I'd like to do is actually get this working for the new Samsung Hummingbird CPU thats built into the Galaxy S Line. I did read that you are possibly going to build the SDK to work with multiple phones as the beta progresses, however I would love to start looking into that now myself. Where would be the right place to get this started?

Thanks!

Alex.

There is no method for developers to optimize the SDK to run on new devices.

For now, let us know what devices you are interested in. More devices will become supported throughout the beta.

Hello,

I think Samsung Galaxy Tab will be a great option for its screen resolution and the gyroscope sensor will provide more stability to the AR.

I think, that support of Galaxy S has huge potential... Many developers with this device are interested in QCAR SDK, including me. Do you plan to support that? Thank you for reply, greetings from Czech Republic!

Hi,
I think exactly the same way.
Do you have some schedule or information about the date when this device will be supported?
