yes, i've downloaded those samples which are very usefull but my problem is how to deploy them.

my client needs a web page that can upload new targets, that's why i was thinking about servlet or php but here are my problems :

- if i chose java samples, they  are made for desktop app, not servlet so i need to adapt it as a servlet and there's a bunch of libraries at the beginning of the file missing :

package com.qualcomm.vuforia.CloudRecognition.samples;

import java.io.File;
import java.io.IOException;
import java.net.URI;
import java.net.URISyntaxException;
import java.util.Date;

import org.apache.commons.codec.binary.Base64;
import org.apache.commons.io.FileUtils;
import org.apache.http.HttpResponse;
import org.apache.http.client.ClientProtocolException;
import org.apache.http.client.HttpClient;
import org.apache.http.client.methods.HttpPost;
import org.apache.http.client.methods.HttpUriRequest;
import org.apache.http.entity.StringEntity;
import org.apache.http.impl.client.DefaultHttpClient;
import org.apache.http.impl.cookie.DateUtils;
import org.apache.http.message.BasicHeader;
import org.apache.http.util.EntityUtils;
import org.json.JSONException;
import org.json.JSONObject;

import com.qualcomm.vuforia.CloudRecognition.utils.SignatureBuilder;

- and if i chose php, there's the : require_once 'HTTP/Request2.php'; missing

maybe you could explain how to import those ?

You can simply create a standard desktop Java application that sends queries to your Cloud Database to upload or update targets;

this is illustrated by our Java samples (which are fully functional, and which you could reuse and adapt to your specific needs), which can be downloade here:

https://developer.vuforia.com/resources/sample-apps/vuforia-web-services-api-java-implementation

Or you could use some PHP code in a web page, using the  PHP sample code here (or taking inspiration from it):

https://developer.vuforia.com/resources/sample-apps/vuforia-web-services-api-php-implementation

sure, a client asked me to add targets via web services.

i have not much experience in web development nore with web services and i've seen that you can use web services to upload new targets to vuforia cloud database. So I was wondering the utility of using a CMS to upload images to this cloud database.

What's the best approach to upload images to the cloud database ? Do i need a CMS or can i write some code in a web page like servlet or php ?

ps sorry for the double related question on the forum

Hi, your question is not very clear:

could you specify what use case you have in mind ?
