convert capture camera frame to bitmap

June 19, 2013 - 1:51am #1

I am using following code to get camera frame ,

QCAR::Image *img = NULL;
 QCAR::Frame frame = state.getFrame();

        for (int i = 0; i < frame.getNumImages(); ++i)
        {
              const QCAR::Image *image = frame.getImage(i);
              if (image->getFormat() == QCAR::RGB565)
              {
                  img = (QCAR::Image*)image;

                  break;
              }
        }

Now i need to pass this image for preprocessing using OpenCV or Fastcv(from Qualcomm).

How to convert vuforia frame to bitmap in JNI ?

I am new to FastCV and Vuforia.

Or is it possible to directly pass it to FastCV.

Thanks

I have already  checked that link, and from that only i got the code i had posted.  I want to do conversion in JNI only.

I am not sure wheather is it right forum to ask - Can we pass vuforai frame directly to FastCV(from Qualcomm) and how to integrate them ?

Thanks

Hi, have you checked this:

https://developer.vuforia.com/forum/faq/android-how-can-i-access-camera-image

This also mentions how to produce a bitmap from the camera image, using JNI and Java.
