Detect when the image is not blurred

December 27, 2011 - 2:09am #1

Hi,

When the camera is on, is there a way to know when the image is not blurred because of the camera motion ? The iPhone is doing some image processing to remove blur effect, so I want to take a picture when the image is actually net and not before the iPhone image processing.

Curious if there is an update on detecting if blurred? (Blast from the past!)

I want to do some image processing by myself to decode a bar code, so AutoFocus is gonna be usefull to get a workable image.

Hmm, not that I know of. Do note that continuous autofocus is enabled by default on iOS, you can turn this off using the CameraDevice::stopAutoFocus method.
