It sounds like the Android NDK is not on your system path. Follow these instructions from Step 1 of the Get Started guide (Android NDK section):

NDK-r5 requires the above directory to be added to the Windows path! To do this right-click on 'My Computer' on the desktop and select properties. On the 'Advanced' tabs select 'Environment Variables' and look for Variable 'Path' in the 'System variables' window. After pressing 'Edit', scroll to the end of 'Variable value:' and add the full path to the directory to the end of the path, separated via semicolon from the one before. In the above example, you would have to add:

;C:\Development\Android\android-ndk-r5\

You will probably have to restart Cygwin after doing this.

hi Kim

i just follow your instruction but i find some issue :
1. i can't found : ndk-build & cygdrive
2. Once you have Cygwin set up, you must run the "ndk-build" command in the
ImageTargets project directory.
=> C:\development\qcar-sdk-0-10-0\samples\ndk-build
=> 'ndk-build' is not recognized as an internal / external command operable
program or batch file

3. C:\cygwin\ndk-build
=>'ndk-build' is not recognized as an internal / external command operable
program or batch file

help me kim

That setup looks fine. Are you following the directions in the Get Started guide? https://ar.qualcomm.com/qdevnet/sdk

Once you have Cygwin set up, you must run the "ndk-build" command in the ImageTargets project directory.

First, make sure the Android NDK directory is on your system Path. See the Step 1: Android NDK section.

Second, run Cygwin and change directories to the ImageTargets project directory. With your setup, this will be something like this:

cd /cygdrive/c/development/qcar-sdk-0-10-0/samples/ImageTargets

Finally, type and run "ndk-build" in Cygwin.

Go through the Get Started guide carefully, everything you need should be there. Let me know if you get stuck on a particular step.

This is the important error:

The library libImageTargets.so could not be loaded

Have you built the native library using ndk-build on the command line? After that, you might need to refresh the project in Eclipse. Right-click on the project in the Package Explorer and choose Refresh.

You should now see a libs folder in Eclipse, containing two more folders (armeabi and armeabi-v7a), each of those containing a libImageTargets.so file. When you build the project in Eclipse, a libQCAR.so file should also be placed in these folders.

i use X10 with the last version , how to use ADB log cat ? need your help

What device are you running the application on? Make sure it is one of the supported devices listed on the SDK main page (Supported Devices section on the left): https://ar.qualcomm.com/qdevnet/

If your device is supported, could you look at the logcat to get more information on the error? You can see the logcat by opening the DDMS perspective in Eclipse, or by running "adb logcat" on the command line.
