Landmark of the ARCamera

November 30, 2011 - 2:43am #1

I hope this is not a very easy question that I missed in the doc, cause 4m new to unity/qcar and I can't find out the solution:
I track an image, I attached a 3d model to my ARCamera and I throw (apply a force) this 3dmodel in "space" by touching the screen (android). My problems are:
-I would like the force I apply to be in the ARCamera landmark, meaning if I send a force on z-axis, the object should move in line on the screen. Right now, if I do that, the object moves in the direction of the marker.
-(Solved) Afer a moment, I want my object to come back in front of the camera, at the same place than it was before I throw it. I don't know why, I've try many different method, but the placement is never good. If someone has an idea and/or a solution, that would be great :)

Thank you for your time!

Edit: I solved my second problem by using Transform.TransformPoint. Very easy to use, and works perfectly to place my object relatively from the camera :)
