Hello,

I would like to know how to view log files? I also don't understand how to use the debug feature.

Thanks.

You can view log output by either typing "adb logcat" in the terminal/cygwin, or opening the DDMS perspective in Eclipse. You can also add LogCat to your Java perspective in Eclipse by going to Window > Show View > Other... > Android > LogCat.

Debugging is trickier. You can use Eclipse to debug the Java side of your code, simply add breakpoints and run via the Debug option. To debug the native code you will need to use the ndk-gdb command in the terminal/cygwin. I believe this only works with Android OS 2.2 devices. You might be able to get this to work with Eclipse, but I think it will take some hacking. Here's a post with some instructions though:

Please note I haven't tried this with our SDK, use at your own risk!
