MultiTarget from Markers

October 10, 2011 - 1:39am #1

Hi!

I tried to create a multi target from markers and can't:
- If there's no ImageTarget defined in the config.xml file, QCAR::MultiTarget::create crashes
- If I add a Marker trackable to a MultiTarget, QCAR::MultiTarget::addPart crashes.

Is there something I do wrong? How could I build a MultiTarget from Markers?

Many thanks!

Sebastien

PS: FYI I'm using iOS SDK and the device is an iPad 2.

Sebastien, I managed to get Frame Markers into a unified coordinate system. It doesn't use the multiTarket system, but it is even better. Have a look:

Thank you for your answer.
Since the MultiTarget API deals with QCAR::Trackable, I thought it could use both Markers and ImageTargets.
This may be an improvement for a future release :)

Sebastien.

Multi targets are composed of image targets, you cannot create a multi target out of frame markers.

If you'd like to bring your frame markers into a unified coordinate system you can find some information in this thread: http://ar.qualcomm.at/node/2000410
