Do you have the DefaultTrackableEventHandler script attached to your ImageTarget? This will have a method to disable rendering of the animation.

e.g.

    private void OnTrackingLost()
    {
        Renderer[] rendererComponents = GetComponentsInChildren<Renderer>();

        // Disable rendering:
        foreach (Renderer component in rendererComponents) {
            component.enabled = false;
        }

        Debug.Log("Trackable " + mTrackableBehaviour.TrackableName + " lost");
    }

Also be sure that your model is a child of the target.

In Unity, open the scene that you have developed, then go to File > Build Settings. Select Platform: Android. Select Add Current - your scene will appear in the Scenes In Build window. You can configure your app by selecting Player Settings. Then press Build to build an APK, or Build and Run to build an APK and install it on your device. You don't need to export to Eclipse. The app can be installed from Unity.

The "ndk-build" step is important, don't skip it. If you're developing on Windows use cywgin to run the command. First use the "cd" command to change directories to the sample you want to build. See the "Android NDK" section in Step 1 of the Getting Started guide for more info.
