Hello,
I plan to write an Android App, which uses QCAR. I have read about that Qualcomm takes statistics from my users. How can I find out, which statistics are created ? I read about "general device information" and "Including, but not limited to". Does Qualcomm use Location-based statistics? Is there a List which Informations exactly are passed?

Can you tell me how the statistics are collected? If I understand right does a release app need to connect to a QCAR server first time it's run? Does that mean it cannot start the first time without a network connection? And will it try to connect again later to collect stats? What happens if it wants to connect and there isn't a network connection?
Thanks

Hello,
Qualcomm collects certain SDK usage data for the purposes of understanding the limitations of the product and improving the performance. Section 7 - CONSENT TO COLLECTION AND USE OF NON-PERSONAL DATA - of the license agreement explains the types of data that are collected.
Thank you,
-Peter
A QCAR app does need an internet connection to run the first time, but this is to download device-specific settings. Many devices cannot start until they connect once, after that a connection is no longer needed. This is something we are looking at improving for later versions of the SDK.
