Rendering different models for different trackables

June 1, 2011 - 3:53am #1

Hi,

In the Image Targets sample, I want to render two different 3D models for 'stones' trackable and 'chips' trackable. The model should be different, not only the texture.
For example, render the teapot for 'stones' and another model for 'chips'.

Also, this should be done one at a time. Application gives user the option to select the trackable (either 'stones' or 'chips).
Eg: If user select 'stones', the model for that should be displayed when camera is focused to stones picture. And also no model should be rendered when camera is focused to chips picture.

How can I do this. Please help.

Thanks. :)

See the last post in this thread for some sample code on switching the model based on the target:

Thats a big complicated request...

I suggest looking at the ImageTargets sample and starting from there.

And if you get stuck you can ask in small chunks rather than someone supplying you with a complete answer.
