sample project

April 15, 2012 - 7:10am #1

Hey,

I am using Eclipse Indigo and Mac OS 10.7.

I want to import one of the given sample projects. But when I do that, I always get an error message

"Description Path Resource Location Type
Unbound classpath variable: 'QCAR_SDK_ROOT/build/java/QCAR/QCAR.jar' in project 'ImageTargets' ImageTargets Build path Build Path Problem".

At the icon of my project appears an exclamation point, when it is still imported. I know that this is a problem with my build path, but I don't know what to do.

Please be so kind and help me with my question, because I need to work with the SDK for my bachelorproject.

Thanks for helping my,

Viktoria

Hi, have you defined the QCAR_SDK_ROOT, as already indicated in the previous post?

Why I have set the QACR enviroment variable, but it still told me

Unbound classpath variable: 'QCAR_SDK_ROOT/build/java/QCAR/QCAR.jar' in project 'ImageTargets'

You need to define QCAR_SDK_ROOT in Eclipse.

From https://ar.qualcomm.at/qdevnet/sdk

Quote:

In Eclipse, go to Window->Preferences. Navigate to Java->Build Path->Classpath Variables using the hierarchy browser. Create a new variable by selecting New....
Add

QCAR_SDK_ROOT

into the Name: field and navigate using Folder... to the \vuforia-sdk-android-xx-yy-zz directory we defined in the Vuforia SDK Setup section. In our example above the variable value is

C:/Development/Android/vuforia-sdk-android-xx-yy-zz

where xx-yy-zz denotes the current Vuforia SDK version number.

This setting is essential as the classpath settings in the sample files use this reference to include common shared JAR files.

Be sure to read through the Getting Started - SDK section. This will guide you through the set-up of your build environment.

Which school are you with? - have they recommended using Vuforia?
