Scaling a model in execution

June 3, 2013 - 6:45am #1

Hello folks,

I want to make an app with Vuforia in which I could generate 3D furniture and I could change the model size (scale it) while executing the app. I wanted to add a button to activate the scaling of the model and use two fingers, like the zoom on an iphone, to change the size of it.

The first thing I thought about was that the models size comes in the .xml file of the dataset, and so I should change the size there, but I don't think thats going to work during the execution.

Any one knows if its possible to change the size of the model on execution?

If so, I would appreciate any help

Thanks for your time

It should be possible, which SDK version are you using? - the method will differ depending on whether you're working in OpenGL or the Unity environment.
