Target adaptive to all circumstances

August 10, 2015 - 1:58am #2

Hi,

Recently, I've been working on a project including the recognition of real building. I use cloud recognition in the sample code to implement the function and it works most of the time. However, I've found that the recognition often fail to work when the gets too bright or too dark. Are there any good references methods that can solve my problems ?
Plus, I came up with an idea, a not very robust one, to adjust the intensity of frames taken by camera to a fixed teshold or value before recognition, in order to match that of the database I have. However, so far, I haven't find any source code that contains related function (edit image before recognition) or shows that such idea will work. Would any one offer me any sources of related works ?

That would be a great help, thanks.

Changes in available light can affect the surface feature contrast to where recognition is impacted. There's no way to modify the camera feed prior to it being checked for reco.
